Calzedonia

Calzedonia is an Italian brand manufacturer of socks, bikinis and pajamas.
Calzedonia was born in 1987 in Valais, Oppeano close of Verona, from an idea by Sandro Veronesi.

The challenge: an initial capital of 500 million of Lire and perception of exponential growth in sales of socks, swimwear for men, women and children through a network of franchised stores. The project works for the brand Calzedonia (same name of the company).

Thus, in 96, the same concept is extended to lingerie and sleepwear with the birth of the second brand Intimissimi. At a distance of just over 16 years since its launch, the network Calzedonia & Intimissimi has over 1,200 stores in Italy and around the world: Spain (a country where the number of establishments is one of the strongest, more than 140 stores), Austria, Portugal, Greece, Poland, Turkey, Mexico, Bosnia, Hungary, Cyprus, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. The business organization is a pioneer in employee relations. In 2001 he opened a nursery that is one of the most interesting of Europe, for children of employees of 6 months up to 3 years.
