Typically we start seeing them at 3 for their first celinang/exam ( m a dental hygienist). Unless they have some sort of cavity, that is the average age for their first dental apppointment.The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends children have a dental home by 1 and an exam. But to be honest, I have never seen a patient younger than 3 in the office and that is usually not the norm.
